Fire-by-Frition, also commonly known as the bow drill method, is a very primitive form of fire biulding. You may have seen some form of fire-by-friction in the movie Castaway. From our discussions in class you know that the key to fbf is pressure. Pressure creates heat which allows the ember to form and the fire to be produced.
